The photo gallery includes sections for the different areas the children work in. The six main areas are: practical life, sensorial, language, mathematics, cultural studies and art. At any time in the morning the children can take time to eat their snacks together. At 10.30am all the children get together for the (short) big morning circle. Afterwards they go into our garden to play, before coming back in to participate in the smaller lunchtime circles, which are grouped by age. Then at 1pm children can enjoy lunch (which always includes a generous helping of fresh fruit and vegetables). In the afternoon the children can then continue with the various activities. We also have four rabbits, five gerbils (plus six babies at the moment) and one tortoise. In the last row there are links to pictures of some of the non-daily events at The Children's House. The children often go on outings and also celebrate many different festivals. There are photos of our annual summer plays and winter concerts, as well as of our weekend skiing trip (with parents) and the farm weekend (without parents, only for the oldest children).
